Citrus Diet in 5 Days

Citrus are fruits which help in melting the fat, which leads to a rapid and significant weight reduction. In addition, citrus supply the body with required vitamin C. Doing this diet allows losing about 3 pounds in 5 days.

 Citrus Diet

Breakfast for every day: 
Every morning should start with a juice of one lemon, diluted with 150ml mineral water. Breakfast should include: a piece of black bread with cheese, a glass of citrus juice by your choice, a cup of yogurt with 3 spoons of muesli and juice of half a lemon.

Day 1

  • Lunch: one boiled egg, one cup of sauce made of yogurt and half finely chopped cucumber, parsley and pepper.
  • Snack: a cup of yogurt with the juice of half a lemon.
  • Dinner: 100g pasta  with 200g mushrooms, soy sauce.

Day 2

  • Lunch: 300g carrots with soup cube, 2 tablespoons lemon juice, one tea spoon of olive oil, one onion and a soy sauce; 100g cooked rice.
  • Snack: a cup of yogurt with the juice of half a lemon.
  • Dinner: cabbage salad, chicken breast with mayonnaise, lemon juice and black pepper, one orange.

Day 3

  • Lunch: 150g grilled pork fillet cooked with lemon juice, pepper and salt; 150g boiled potatoes.
  • Snack: a cup of yogurt with the juice of half a lemon.
  • Dinner: 100g potatoes and one onion are frying with 2 spoons of olive oil. In the same oil put 300g chicken fillet without skin. When is soft enough, add one tablespoon of lemon juice, black pepper, parsley and salt.

Day 4

  • Lunch: a big potato, whether cooked or baked, cut it in the middle and garnish with sauce of 1 spoon cream, 1 spoon yogurt, pepper and finely chopped onions, 2 slices smoked fillet of fish.
  • Snack: a cup of yogurt with the juice of half a lemon.
  • Dinner: a lettuce salad, 60g cheese and 6-7 marinated small fishes. The salad is seasoned with 1 tsp olive oil and 2 SL lemon juice, a piece of black baked bread with cheese.

Day 5

  • Lunch: 50 g. pasta, garnished with sauce of 100g pork fillet, 2 spoons cream, 1 spoon lemon juice, pepper and basil.
  • Snack: a cup of yogurt with the juice of half a lemon.
  • Dinner: salad of 150g boiled potatoes, 5-6 black olives, one onion. This is seasoned with 1 spoon lemon juice, pepper and salt, a piece of black bread.
