Finally, several foods that you should avoid if you want to keep proper functioning of the brain:

  • Alcohol. Excessive alcohol consumption will leave you with no energy and concentracion. The worst is that alcohol kills brain cells.
  • Energy drinks. These drinks contain more caffeine and can therefore cause a number of health problems. They can hinder you to ensure good sleep, which is essential for brain health.
  • White chocolate and candy. White chocolate does not contain cocoa which stimulates the production of endorphins. This chocolate and candy hiding a lot of sugar which in many ways worse health.
  • Ice cream and chips. Ice cream is extremely bad food for the brain. Saturated fats found in it can clog blood vessels and reduce the amount of nutrients that should go into the brain. Chips contain many harmful fats and refined carbohydrates that can cause dementia.
